  • What is the VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals?
    • The VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals presented by Karl Performance is the only indoor stock car race featuring Open Wheel Modifieds and Super Late Models.  The 2nd annual event takes place December 14th-16th, 2017 at the Dome at America’s Center in Downtown St. Louis Missouri.
  • How do I get/buy tickets to the race?
    • All ticket sales are required to go through Ticketmaster.  Our page www.GatewayDirt.com/Tickets is the hub with information regarding ticket sales.  Tickets are currently NOT on sale and ON SALE dates will be announced soon.
  • Is there a KIDS ticket price?
    • NO.  We do not offer a reduced ticket price for kids or minors.
  • How do I get/buy pit passes to the race?
    • Pit Passes can also be purchased online or on any event day.  More information on pit passes is available at www.gatewaydirt.com/event-info/pit-passes/  The advanced pit pass option has savings for 2 and 3 day pit pass options, however all pit passes can be purchased in single days as well.  Pit pass holders do not have a reserved seat in the dome for viewing but they do have access to a general pit pass holder seating area.  Please view the seating chart to review. PIT Passes are not currently on sale.  
  • Will there be a pit pass upgrade option?
    • YES.  Each event day, ticket holders will have a Pit Pass add on option.  These will be made at the box office on broadway street onsite only and will not be taken in advance or online.  The add on pit pass is $20 each day.
  • Is there a minimum age in the pits?
    • NO.  However, Any minor under 18 years of age will be required to have a minor waiver form that is signed by their parent or legal guardian.
  • Will race teams be able to park inside the building?
    • Pit Parking is available for competitors inside the building.  There is no pit parking outside of the building and it will not be allowed outside of the building.  There is much more pit parking information available online at www.gatewaydirt.com/competitorparking/  In general, no generators or fuel is allowed inside the building.  Fuel storage options are outside the building.  ATV’s, Mules, Golf Carts or other motorized UTV’s are NOT allowed inside the building or on public streets.
  • Will the race be on PPV?
    • YES.  www.DirtOnDirt.com will be broadcasting the event.  Their production of the event is gearing up to be one of their most intense productions ever and fans that simply cannot attend will have options to watch all on track activity December 15th-17th.
  • What drivers can I expect to see?
    • Some of the biggest names in the industry have pre-registered.  Although there is never a guarantee on who will arrive when the doors open, we have pre-registered entries from drivers like Scott Bloomquist, Billy Moyer, Don O’Neil, Darrel Lanigan, Bobby Pierece, Dennis Erb and so many others.  Open Wheel Modified stars like Kenny Wallace, Nick Hoffman, Mike Harrison and more also are expected to attend.
  • What size is the race track?
    • The track design is slightly larger than a 1/5 mile and is semi-banked.
  • Is there a full schedule of events?
    • YES.  Our full schedule of events is available online at www.gatewaydirt.com/event-info/schedule/  This schedule is tentative, subject to change and can be revised from time to time, so please check it before traveling to St Louis this December.
  • Can I still register to race the event?
    • We are no longer accepting new entries for the event.  
  • Are Hotels near the Dome?
    • YES.  We have a variety of host hotels that offer discounted rates, specially for our fans and competitors attending the race this December.  Please go online to www.gatewaydirt.com/event-info/hotels/ to review our options on host hotel deals.
  • Will camping be available?
    • YES.  Camping is available for both competitors and public.  Competitors have the option of camping directly across the street from the dome in lots #1 and #3.  These lots are only available for Competitors.  Fans and General public can camp very close to the dome at St Louis RV Park.  Please go online to review more information regarding camping options and reservation instructions at www.gatewaydirt.com/camping/
  • What should we expect for temperatures inside of the Dome for this event?
    • The temperature inside of the Dome will correlate slightly with the temperature outdoors. At certain times throughout the event, an entry door will be open to allow cars inside onto the track. This will create a draft of outside air coming into the Dome. Building air control will be handled by the Dome to ensure that it is comfortable inside, but we advise you to dress accordingly.
  • Is there handicap parking available?
    • There are numerous places to park at the Dome, or even within a very small radius of the Dome. If contacted directly, the Dome will help guide any individual to the most convenient
  • Is there public parking at the Dome?
    • There are many public parking lots/garages located around the Dome and within walking distance in downtown St. Louis. We have a public parking map and public parking information on our website.   • Will coolers or bags be allowed into the building?
    • Coolers will not be allowed into the building unless it is for medical purposes only. If you do in fact need to bring a cooler in due to medical circumstances, please contact The Dome at America’s Center directly in order to have confirmation and clearance. There will be a baggage check upon entering to ensure that nothing that goes against building regulations and policies is brought into the Dome.
